Zoey's Tutor is the fourth episode of Season 3 and the 30th overall episode of the Nickelodeon TV series Zoey 101. The episode originally aired on November 5, 2006.
Plot
Zoey struggles with chemistry, where she scores a "C" on a test. She is given a new tutor; to her surprise, her tutor is Logan, who secretly happens to be one of the best pupils. Zoey starts learning chemistry from Logan behind her friends' backs. All of her friends become suspicious, especially Chase. Chase holds a conference with Michael, Lola, and Quinn to brainstorm what Logan and Zoey might be doing. Everyone except Chase believes that the two are secretly dating. When he confronts Logan, Logan lies and says that Zoey is dating him, which Chase will not believe and asks him to prove it. Logan makes Chase hide in a bush nearby while Zoey and Logan have a conversation. Logan successfully convinces Chase that he and Zoey are dating, and Chase storms off. Later, Chase apologizes, and Zoey learns about Logan's lie. She tells Chase, Michael, Lola, and Quinn what her and Logan have actually been doing, and they decide to get payback. The rat Quinn had been trying to capture the entire episode is placed in Logan's pants by Chase, Michael, and Zoey at night.
Meanwhile, Quinn tries to catch her rat which was lost and bugged Lola since Quinn's plasma bolt hit Lola in the head, making her unconscious. Near the end of the episode, Zoey catches it by placing a laundry hamper over the rat. The rat is later used to be payback for Logan; Zoey, Chase, and Michael put the rat in Logan's pants while he's asleep.
Goofs
- When Lola is knocked out by the plasma bolt, her arm lands next to her head. However, when the scene cuts, her arm is now by her side.
- When Quinn first puts music on to attract the rat after Lola finds it, the music starts playing before the CD starts spinning.
Trivia
- Paul Butcher (Dustin Brooks) does not appear in this episode.
