Vanessa was a minor character appearing in the second season of Zoey 101. Michael tries to ask her out, but he can't say her name since he, Chase, and Logan made a bet to not say a word with the letter "S", and Vanessa's name has 2 S's. At the end of the episode, Vanessa comes up to Michael, revealing she was getting impatient waiting for him to ask her out. When Vanessa asks if he wants to go out with her, he says "Yes!", making a date with Vanessa as he loses the bet. Strangely, Michael was never seen with her during future episodes, so it can be assumed that their relationship didn't work out or she transferred schools the following year.
