Rumor of Love is the fourth episode in Season 4 and the 56th overall episode in the Nickelodeon TV series, Zoey 101. It is the 3rd episode of Season 4 in streaming and production order. The episode aired on February 10, 2008.
Plot
Michael and Logan learn that they will be getting a new roommate. Their new roommate is called James, who soon becomes a celebrity among all of the girls at PCA. Michael and Logan are unhappy about having James as a roommate; the former because he missed having more space and having Chase as a roommate, and the latter because James is taking the attention of the girls away from him. A rumor spreads saying that Zoey and James are dating. James moves out of Michael and Logan's room to the worst room in the dorms to avoid angering them. Logan tells Michael that he spread the rumor to make James undatable, and Michael tells James about it, welcoming him back to their room. James and Zoey, along with Lola and Quinn, get Jeremiah Trottman with the PCA News to force Logan to confess that he spread the rumor. After getting the job done, Zoey and James kiss, thus starting a relationship.

- Zoey's first kiss in the series takes place in this episode.
- As of this episode, every main character to appear up to this point (Zoey, Lola, Quinn, Chase, Michael, Logan, Dustin and James) has had at least one on-screen kiss.
- Austin Butler joins the main cast as James Garrett in this episode.

Goofs
- After Lola and Quinn pull the shower curtain off the rings one by one, the curtain immediately appears back on the rings in the following scene.
